Digital & Film Chicago-based Wedding Photographer

The perfect blend of photojournalism and editorial photography combined with the devotion to capture every couple just as they are.

About Madi Ellis Photography

My goal as a wedding photographer is to create relationships with my clients. Earning your trust in this way ensures that your wedding photos look and feel exactly like you. I strive to create inclusive and fun environments where everyone feels like they can be themselves.

Beyond creating a bond that will help you feel more comfortable, I also bring my expertise and organizational skills. This means assisting you with photo-related decisions, answering emails quickly, and being your hype girl throughout the day. I only take a certain amount of clients per year so that everyone gets a bespoke and personalized experience.

I edit with true-to-life colors so that every image you enjoy for years to come feels like a time machine. All of my packages also come with prints! I’m a firm believer that photos deserve life beyond the screen. You should be able to walk away from your wedding with something you can put on the fridge, at your desk, or framed in your home. I additionally offer heirloom albums and film photography.

Working with me means you’ll get the care and loyalty that you would expect from a close friend. The connections that I make with my clients are what allow me to get those gorgeous, candid laughs and teary-eyed smiles!

How We Stay Sustainable:

Madi Ellis Photography prioritizes sustainability across all facets of her business including:

  • Minimize the amount waste by keeping all documents online. All signatures, invoices, and questionnaires are done through your client portal.

  • I always try to buy used whenever I’m in the market for new equipment.

  • If I ever feel like I no longer need a lens or a camera body, I always resell it or donate it.

  • Encourage clients to book with other vendors who share the same sentiments about sustainability, especially those involved with the SEC.

  • I work with Heaven’s Honey, a company that strives to help local honey farmers keep their businesses alive along with the bees! All of my welcome packages for clients include a small jar of honey from this organization.

  • Creating sustainability among our communities. Whether it’s donating to different charities or contributing my services to a non-profit, I believe that helping others is a great way to sustain everyone in the great city of Chicago.
